Ever wondered whether to create a Facebook Page or a Facebook group, or what the differences even are?
It should be both!
WORLD WIDE WEB Visibility
Facebook Pages are visible to the WWW.the page content is also visible to and indexed by search engines. In simple terms, this means that search engines can find you. But it also means that other people searching the WWW can find you.
Facebook Pages then have a direct (positive) impact on your search engine optimisation and web presence. EVEN people not registered with Facebook, can still read your Facebook Page content – they just cannot engage with it (like, comment, or share).
Facebook groups are not visible on WWW, however unlike pages it is possible to have a larger community on a group as yourself and other members of the group can add members to the group, providing a larger community quicker than a fan base on your page, so connecting a group to your page is very beneficial.
